Quotation Analysis for Medical Capital
This is a custom review of your supplier quotations prepared by an MD Buyline Clinical Analyst.
- The true list price of the system is identified by performing a component by component review comparison to the manufacturer’s component level list pricing.
- The quoted price is compared to the list price to calculate the discount percentage being offered.
- The discount being offered is then compared to the database of deals that are an “apples to apples” comparison with the quotation submitted. During this comparison the analyst is assessing any special circumstances, such as trade-ins, bundled purchases, GPO contracts, strategic alliance agreements, etc., in order for a discount to be recommended.
- Analyst insight is provided to include current vendor promotions, tradeshow insight, product or market updates, vendor quarter/fiscal year end discount strategies, consumable associated costs, and point of sale recommendations.
- FDA issues related to the quoted product or technology are identified along with any necessary purchase protection clauses that should be included in the contract.
